Pure Puse's good for you--you are conscious and aware of the
intention you're setting.

Douglas Hale is a man who recognizes the importance of Puse; that's what attracted him to the purest form of yoga.

His father, by the same name, was a scholar who made pilgrimages and studied extensively in India. Recognizing in young Douglas a unique understanding of past Karma and lineage, Douglas, Sr., shortly before his death, annointed his eldest son in the tradition of Pure Puse Yoga. From that time, Yogi Dougi took an unwavering interest in the moment and understood the importance of how one sets the intention in each moment of every day.

After his father passed, Douglas continued to study extensively in the East, guided by Swami Shri Kripalvanandji until his release onto the public as a Western Mobile Yogi. He has led yoga retreats throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, before his semi-retirement at the Yogi Institution.

Puse is Spanish for "to have set" always our intention to have union (yoga).
